I bought this as a present and it's very good for the user. For me it lacks features and picture quality isn't as high as I expected.

Had a chance to finally use this during a weekend get-away and having not played with it at all before leaving, I was please to say I'd all but mastered the features by the time we got home! Very easy to figure out if you're familiar with basic camera navigation. Lots of options that are easy to get to. LOVE the video quality... surprised, actually, by how great it is. The pictures are great, too, for a point-and-shoot. Compact, sturdy, and fits great in my purse. I do recommend putting it in some kind of case or pocket or something, just to diminish scratches and nicks (display does seem prone to showing scratches). Otherwise, very happy with the product and price!

Had the camera 2 weeks an the LCD Broke.
Nikon refused to repair without a charge of more then the Camera cost new.
I called Nikon & there attitude was not what I had expected
My Nikon days are over.

My father bought me this camera for Christmas. I was very excited to have a simple point and shoot - I have an SLR by Fujifilm, but decided to try out this Nikon camera. I was disappointed first in the picture quality. In automatic mode everything was either washed out or too dark. Then, after a couple weeks, I travelled to Mexico, excited to take new pictures with my camera and hoping these would come out better. While taking a portrait, I knocked over the camera from about a foot up and the LCD display just shattered. I contacted the company and they said this was not under the warranty. The camera does not have a viewer so I was shooting blindly for a week, hoping my pictures would not be cutting off heads. The company said the LCD would be about $80 to fix, which is almost as much as I paid for the camera. Now I have a useless camera. Definitely do NOT recommend this camera to anybody. Look for another!

la iba a devolver porque tiene un problema que no se puede borrar las imagenes por que se queda bloqueada, pero encontre otra forma de hacerlo y trabaja bien
